I agree, this guy is dangerous, like a child clamouring for attention. Let's hope it is a lot of hot air. One of the best countries I have visited in my world travels was the ROK, great people, great food, and a lot of history. I have many friends there. I would love to visit the northern area someday, but not before a peaceful unification.

Threats from NK are like if a tank drove down the street and an 8 lb dog who's leashed to a tree in his front yard barks at it. Most of the tank crew won't even know it's barking over the volume of their own tank and if one happens to notice, he'll chuckle.

NK knows that 1) it cannot take out SK in a preemptive strike, 2) If it attacks with more than a few artillery pieces and instigates the completion of the korean war its regime would be crushed within days.

For the most part I think it's just rhetoric, and probably it's poorly translated rhetoric as well. But the supreme crackpot is just crazy enough to leave that little bit of doubt in everyone's mind.

What they want to portray as crazy and unpredictable is anything but IMO.

Now the US is no longer a source of threat and fear for us and we are the very source of fear for it.
