I posted this in our November Filers thread but so few have gone through yet I thought I might just make a general post here to see if anyone knew? I feel like after all these years and husband just operating from his UK passport and US green card now that's all we should need?

Previous post:

"Oath is next week and the letter says to bring any docs issued by them. It's been over five years since they got a green card so any work auths or travel docs we may have gotten in the first month or two are way expired and who knows where they would be. I'm guessing they just really need his green card more than anything. Thoughts?"

hi

just the GC, the passport is only needed if he has traveled after the interview and before the Oath

he will surrender his GC, with the appointment letter and the questions he has to answer on the back, and at the end of the Oath he will be given his citizenship certificate

They usually only need the green card, but they also want any travel or employment cards they issued in the past. Sometimes (rarely) they'll give you enough envelope and ask you to mail back those cards if you have them, but they won't hold up your ceremony. If you take all green cards you've been issued, you'll be fine.
