We're back! Votefortheworst.com was started in 2004 to support voting for the bad contestants on American Idol. We've grown so much since then, and even with our massive popularity during American Idol 4, some people still don't get it. Why would anyone vote for the worst? Let me explain.

During the initial auditions, the producers of Idol only let certain people through. Hundreds of thousands of people audition, and the producers turn away many, many talented people every year. You may even know a great singer who was turned away at the auditions. Why do they do this? It's simple: American Idol is not about singing at all. It's about good TV. Carrie Underwood was a lifeless, boring farmbot, and she still won (with our help, of course).
