Hi all

I tried to check the status of my application today at https://www.dvlottery.state.gov/ESC

I carefully entered the info and I keep getting the same error message

The information entered is not valid. Please review the Confirmation Number, your Last/Family Name, and Year of Birth
to ensure you have entered them exactly as they appear on your DV Confirmation Page.

Several characters are often confused:
0 = zero, O = letter 'O', 1 = one, I = letter 'I' (like 'Ice'), 6 = six, G = letter 'G', 8 = eight, B = letter 'B'

in the first label

1. Confirmation Number: In the space below, type the confirmation number that was given when you applied.
Format: 2016xxxxxxxxxxxx. Forgot Confirmation Number

i entered my Confirmation Number 2017xxxxxxxxxxxx as i get it from conformation page, and i entered it as 2016xxxxxxxxxxx

but the same error message keeps popping up

im sure about my last name and year of birth also the Confirmation Number

Anyone I can contact regarding this issue?????

You are entering your original confirmation number (that you used to check the entry originally) and not your case number, correct?
