In order for forum members to help you, perhaps you could give some background info...... Have you moved recently? Did you provide USCIS with your new address?Are you waiting for your NOA2?

Just in case you are still unsure.

1. Your document was returned by the post office for probably for many reasons ( one could be because you left it in the mail box too long and the post man returned it).

2. Now click on the website mentioned on that page and request them to resend it again.

3. This time around, please make sure you collect it from your mail box.

Seems postman could not deliver it and you need to submit a correct address to receive the letter

Check your email (look in your spam filter also) for the 221(x) document from the embassy. You should have received a notice regarding this.

Did you change addresses since filing? You need to contact USCIS regarding this https://www.uscis.gov/

If you did change your address did you complete an address update with USCIS?

Hold on was that after you had an interview from the embassy? I'm sorry to say if that was the case then you were denied. If that was for k-1

no my fiance didnt change address.. he can only get mail on the post office..

I had found this out myself this morning and I was curious to know what this means since I didn't change my address at all and I check my mail everyday. So far my check has been cashed and I think my lawyer received the NOA1(their copy?) because they contacted me regarding a notification and also a note mentioning a change of address.

So this afternoon I called uscis and I was told that the post office had mailed the document back, but when they say that I'm not sure of what "document" they had tried to mail back to me. I'm assuming my I-129f? They had also mentioned that since it has been only a short amount of time it is doubtful that it was accepted/denied and could possibly be related to needing further information for my petition, but he was unsure. So I gave him my address again and they are going to contact me(via mail/e-mail) upon sending the mail. He also mentioned that after they inform me that it is going to be sent that I should contact the post office and find out why it wasn't and/or couldn't be delivered to me.

Hoping that it is not due to missing information, a denial or something along those lines!

So after finding all this out, I'm still somewhat confused at to what I'm going to receive. If anyone has dealt with this, I would love to hear their experience with this!!

No it could have been an RFE. The petitioner needs to make sure their post office will deliver government mail to a PO box. Sometimes they wont do this and just return the mail.
