Financial Support- how many months of work?

Hi everyone,

I am currently living abroad in Hungary, no DCF...!! I got a job back home in the states starting in April. I would like to file for the fiance visa upon arrival and of me starting work. My new job exceeds the 125%. My only concern is that it is a new job, so no tax returns besides from my job in Hungary. Is this something to be concerned with? Is it enough to put an official letter from my company stating my position and how much I make per year? All help and advice is appreciated.

It depends slightly on the embassy, but if you only file for the visa in April when you start your job, you will have 6+ months worth of paystubs by the time your fiance's interview is and you need the I-134, which should be plenty, especially together with an employer's letter stating the job is permanent and long term.

Me: Irish/ Swiss citizen, and now naturalised US citizen. Husband: USC; twin babies born Feb 08 in Ireland and a daughter in Feb 2010 in Arkansas who are all joint Irish/ USC. Did DCF (IR1) in 6 weeks via the Dublin, Ireland embassy and now living in Arkansas.
