Hi-

I'm petitioning for I-129F, and received NOA2 on February 2. I've called the NVC twice (most recently a week ago) and they "don't have my case in the system", nor has my status on the USCIS site changed from the NOA2.

Should I start panicking that my case has not been mailed yet and is sitting at the bottom of a pile somewhere and will never be sent?

That's not unusual. I would go back and verify with USCIS when the Operator answers ask for a tier 2 supervisor. Then when they get on phone ask "When did my petition physically leave the service center".

See what they say. Even though you may get "we have 90 days to send your petition0. Most K1's are sent out and received and gone from NVC in 2 weeks. Seems your case might either still be stuck at USCIS (the approval you saw could have been in error). Have you received the hard copy letter in mail.

Or they could have mistakenly sent to NRC (National Records Center) they been known to do that.

Just call USCIS on Monday.
