I am going to Manila to see my girl, after receiving the NOA-1. I would like to bring some things she will need for her embassy interview. I expect to receive my NOA-2 in July (USCIS said the wait was 5 months). I am going to bring-

3 years of Tax returns

3 years of W-2 and SSA-1099, and Stock Purchase Plan

1 year of Bank Statements-starting in July 2015(going to fex-ex the current ones before her interview)

AT&T Phone bills from November

Nobel.com, Long Distance Phone card calls.

Receipt for iPhone 6plus

Copy of NOA-1

Copy of my Life Insurance Policy

Copy of my 401K

Copy of Stock Purchase Program

Copy of my 2 Pink Slips for my cars 2015, 2007

Pictures of us in Manila

Copy of the k-129F- (not sighed by her-just a copy with all the boarding passes, my birth certificate, things that went with the app.

My HR girl at work told me to go to this website for home depot to get my work history and my hourly wage, and how many yrs I have work there, it's electronically sighed.Going to have my Manager sign it also. going to bring a a copy, then fed-ex her a more recent one near her interview

Can you think of anything else I might need? I am going to visit her this last time, and then waiting for the visa to come to her...then plan to go back to get her!

Thanks guy/gals

All things will be noted!

Keep in mind the most asked question at embassy interview is when was the last time your foreign Fiance came to visit you? My Filipino fiancee's interview is March 17, 2016. When they ask her this question she will be able to say he was here two months ago in January and he's here right now, would you like to meet him. Some VJ members say it doesn't matter if you attend interview or not, I respectfully disagree.

My fourth trip to visit her will be the interview and I've visited three other times for a total of 4 times within 10 months. As far as the documents go it's best to keep them updated and brought in person. I would have her focus on the many documents she will need to obtain for herself and make sure those are updated as close to interview date as possible. Being you are five months out from being approved and still need time after that to be able to schedule an appointment which are usually booked a month ahead. Her documents could very well be all outdated by then.

They say six months on most documents but I've heard of delays because of documents only three months old being requested to be updated and resubmitted. Your best bet now is to collect proof of genuine relationship using facebook, facebook messenger, phone records, screen shots of FB timeline posts showing friends and family comments to your posts about your relationship and photo's. Make sure to have time-stamped photo's done when you visit. It's also important to have photos of you with her family during your visit's and have at least an engagement dinner with them if not party.

Well there's my two cents worth of advice, I'm sure many others here will give you there's too. Good Luck on your Journey!

Notations above.

Follow the embassy instructions, there is a link to that from the link in my signature below

EVIDENCE OF SUPPORT. You should be able to demonstrate that you will not become a public charge or burden on the U.S. taxpayers for financial support. A completed I-134 Affidavit of Support Form may be useful to the consular officer to evaluate your petitioner’s ability to be financially responsible for you. You may also be asked to submit your petitioner’s most recent U.S. Federal income tax return (Form 1040) and wage statements (Form W-2). Employment letters stating salaries and bank statements may be included to substantiate the I-134. Download Form I-134 at http://www.uscis.gov/portal/site/uscis.
