Filing early in the year, what are the three most recent tax years?

Hi!

We are about to send our AOS application and I am wondering what to include as evidence of income for the I-864 regarding the 3 most recent tax years.

The 2015 tax year ended 2 months ago. Since it just ended, I cannot obtain IRS transcripts for 2015. I did order transcripts for 2012, 2013 and 2014. I am now filling the I-864 and in the boxes for the 3 most recent tax years I am wondering what I should write.

2015, 2014 and 2013 seems to be what makes the most sense. However I do not have my wife's 1040 Tax Return yet.

My questions are:

1) Should I wait until I have the 2015 1040 form?

2) Which years should I write as the three most recent?

3) If I write 2015, 2014 and 2013, what documents should I include if I can't include form 1040?

Thank you :)

The 2015 tax season has not yet ended so the most recent is still 2014 taxes.

1) Not necessary. If you get an interview, you can always bring the 2015 tax returns then.

2) 2014, 2013, 2012

3) If you write 2015, then you must provide the entire federal return and W2s OR the tax transcripts. Since you don't have any of this, just go ahead and write 2014, 2013, and 2012.
