hello guys, we are in the process of completing the requirements. However, I still don't know where exactly I will have my interview, here in the United Arab Emirates or in the Philippines.

So my question is, do i need to bring my daughter during the interview?because we mentioned her name in the application.(note:my fiancee is not her biological father) Therefore, If I am required to bring my daughter during the fiancee interview then I will choose to have my interview in the Philippines.

Please I need your advice.

Your prompt reply will be highly appreciated.

Thank You and Best Regards,

Hi! Do you intend to bring your daughter with you or follow to join (within one year)?

If she is not entering US with you, she don't have to apply for K2 visa together with you; thus she don't need to attend the interview. She can follow to join within one year.

If she will travel with you, she needs to apply K2 along with you. Better in MNL since she is here.

The tricky part here is if you indicate that you will apply in UAE US Embassy, your docs will be forwarded to UAE and will be issued a Case number unique to UAE along with your daughter. You will also comply requirements as required by US Embassy UAE. Some requirements and procedures are embassy specific.

If your daughter is in Manila and will apply her K2 in Manila, you need to request her case be forwarded to MNL by UAE US Embassy. I have seen one case like this here, it was a little complicated since you need to request your daughter's case be transferred and will also take time to get here. When here case was actually transferred, then she can proceed with Medical and interview.

Yes, you must include her name. Is she below 21?

Is she following to join within 1 year after your entry? If yes, you need to request UAE Embassy to transfer her case to Manila after your interview so that she can process here.

If she will not follow within one year, you can petition her when you have your LPR status or depending on her age, your husband can petition her as step-daughter; that will fall under IR.

if she is turning 21 soon, you should consider her getting the K2 visa with you. Otherwise, the petition will take years.

Yes, she is below 21, she is running 6 years old.

She will join within 1 year.

I am so thankful you gave me the detailed information so now I finally decided to have my interview in the UAE because I just can apply sick leave if I will my schedule interview.hahahaha.....I will really take advantage the sick leave application because I only want to use the 30 days annual leave for my daughter in the Philippines and not doing any other business.

Again, thank you so much and God will bless you more with your family.
