What's the meaning  if my case changed from AP to ready? I'm under 221g and they received  my lacking documents last Friday. Hopefully  this is a good sign @Hank?

Yup that is a good sign, most likely means they have added your document to your case file and are now reviewing it once more.

If all is good, watch for ISSUED very soon.

Thank you @hank_. I feel  relieved now. But if the case is refused it is directly from AP to refused?

Nope.

Relax.   If everything was fine except for a missing document, and you provided the document ...   well you get the idea   :)

Thank you @Mark_712  hoping and praying it'll be issued soon. So from AP to ready then AP again then issued? Am I correct? If you got refused is it from AP  to refused? Or it changed also before it'll be  refused? Bit confusing

Yes that is correct - trust Hanks instincts and experience -  he is correct and also guided me through the process. Don’t worry about the refusal, your 221G was a simple one and you’ll be making travel plans. Have faith and try not to be too anxious.. Just a little more patience and you will be done with this phase. 🙂

Anyone here who have the same experience?

On May 31st, I was advised by SLEC that they are the one who’s gonna send the results to the embassy because there was a typo error on the results and they need to redo it but they said that everything is cleared.

On June 1st, I went to the embassy. After the interview, the consul says “it looks good, proceed to the releasing area for further instructions” and handed me 2pcs pamphlet about domestic violence.

When I went to the releasing area, I was advised by the Filipina to wait for the embassy’s update and not to contact SLEC because they have an internal communication regarding my medical resuts. Then, the lady asked me to get a sheet of paper (delivery information).

My passport is still with USEM. They didn’t return it back.

I attended the interview on June 1. Unfortunately, my medical results are still not there in the embassy. My case status is currently in “administrative processing.”

Now, I’m just wondering if my case is going to be approved or not. Hopefully everything will be okay and will get my visa soon.

Ps: during the interview, the consul never asked for any documents and the interview only lasts for 2-3 mins.

What’s wrong with ne posting to a different forum? I’m just getting some ideas. Don’t be rude.

Your situation sounds a lot like Fredd whom went through the same if not similar situation as you are going through.  I advise that you look and read through his timeline and his post earlier on this thread. If  they have your passport and you were given that information then just a little more patience is all you need. Unlike other embassies that you might’ve read about the Philippine Embassy is pretty straightforward and not as ambiguous as some of the other countries so you are all set.  if you see your status on your AP dates change that’s a good thing and eventually it’ll change to non-immigrant visa shortly there after you will see issued which will followed by a two or three days you will have the visa in hand. I don’t believe Hank was being rude it’s just a lot of people do searches on these forums and when you get multiple entries of the same questions that can make it difficult for others to get the right information. And matter fact it was Hank who help guide me through a lot of the things that I went through in my 221G and he has advised with great accuracy many who needed help specifically with the Philippine Embassy. We understand your anxiety and are anxious for direct answers, while no one can give precise information despite their individual experience, all the information you have provided is pretty straightforward and doesn’t sound like you have any issues outside of just needing a little more patience. Also keep in mind most moderators and members help many here as a volunteer and with no reward or compensation other than paying forward the blessing they have been given. It may may come off as brash but they are trying to keep this site as easy and understandable for many users and posting the same questions won’t yeild any other information then what can originally be offered. Hope hat helps and don’t worry your case is not something outside of the norm. Just a little more patience and i bet by weeks end you’ll be all set if I would guess based on what happened to Fredd.
