hi vj, another question, we had a second child born here in america last 2014 but the child died. my question is in form I-751 in PART 5: INFORMATION ABOUT YOUR CHILDREN. IN a child 2, do i still need to fill up her name there or not anymore? or else i just provide an evidence of her birth certificate and death certificate? please help me vj answer my questions.thank you. .

Yes, I have a deceased child and I am including him on my naturalization form. The instructions for the I-751 aren't as clear as the N-400 but I would include them. I am sorry for your loss.

In answer to your question, do not file 6 months prior - your application will be returned. Click on to this link:https://www.uscis.gov/sites/default/files/dateCalculator.html

to find out the official date you can start filing! good luck.

P.S WRITE IN CAPS ALL YOU WANT... THIS IS THE LAND OF THE FREE AFTER ALL.... :D

They cannot receive it any earlier than 90 days before your expiration and no later than the day your card expires. This is when they GET it (business days) not when you send it.

I'm sorry for your loss.

What is the expiry date on your green card? Is it October 1, 2016? If this is correct, you can start filing July 03, 2016. I used the above calculator. Please make a point in using the resources that other members provided you. Good luck!
