I've been a contractor on a small U.S. Army Garrison located in the Republic of the Marshall Islands for over 10 years. On Sept 2015 my wife entered the US on a K1 visa and we married. On Nov 2nd I left my wife in the care of my parents and returned to my home and employment in the Pacific. She is still waiting for her Greencard but yesterday her Advance Parole was approved. We both want so badly for her to travel here and live with me while waiting for her Adjustment of Status. Since she won't be leaving for humanitarian reasons, family emergency, or her own employment purposes will there be a problem if she uses her Advance Parole approval to come live with me now? We also plan to live and work here on the Garrison once her Adjustment of Status is approved.

The big question is what address did you use to file the AOS? This means if you used the address in the Marshall Islands then you would be good, if you used say your parents address then there might be a problem. I say you might have a problem because you both could get called in for an interview if they deem that it is necessary, or she could get her green card with no interview at all. Nobody ever knows if there will be a interview or not.

So if you use your parents address in the USA to file for AOS, and she is with you in the Marshall Islands then that means you both have to fly back to attend the interview. If you have an interview in CONUS and only she flies back for the interview then she will get denied.

Thanks for the response. We used my parent's address because the embassy in the Marshall Islands doesn't handle interviews anyway. The U.S. embassy in Manila Philippines handles all of Micronesia. We already plan to travel to my parents on short notice to attend the interview once it's scheduled. My main worry is if there will be any hassle in Honolulu when my wife tries entering the US with her AP if the only reason for her leaving is to live with me.
