Evening

Ive noticed that the medical clinic options and the place where you need to get the police cert are both located in lagos. For people who werent local in lagos did you schedule your short travel to lagos by going to get the police cert done one day , then the following day being your medical exam? that way you can tackle both things in 2-3 days? After doing so did you fly back to your local area and then fly back to lagos when it was interview time?

Also ive heard the police cert is valid for 1 year and the medical is usually valid for 6 months is this valid?

Ive also heard that most ppl do the medical mayb 1-2 weeks before the interview ?

opinions / thoughts most appreciated !

Thanks

We got our police clarence within 24hrs. The doctor asked for our appointment date at the Embassy, then the doctor told us what day he wanted to see us for the medical exams- which were a two day process on Jan. 27th & 28th 2016. We picked up our sealed results on Feb. 2nd 2016, and our interview was Feb

4th, 2016.

It was very expensive for us, with the air flight, hotel, taxi and feeding fees.

We were able to stay with some facebook friends a few nights to cut cost.

Hope you can get an idea with the time span.

Am desperately in need of help right now, my daughter went for her first interview around august 2015, they requested a DNA test, but gave her no official letter, after much calls, to both the NVC and the Lagos Embassy, they eventually sent a paper which was given to the group incharge of DNA. DNA done and received result on January 2016, NVC called my daughter telling her that she will go for another medicals that the first has expired or will expire soon, however that happens i don't know. Another call came telling her that her DNA will expire in March, that she should send all documents both the medicals, and her passport to the DHL center in Lagos which she did, she was given a notice to return after 10 business days, am just trusting the whole process, and hoping that by Monday she gets her paperwork in hand, the passport and medical was delivered by hand to the DHL Lagos on the 19th of February 2016. so waiting to go on Monday to pick up, and hopefully it gets ready by then. now my question, is there how i can check the confirm if it is ready or not. thanks
