I don't know the best answer but it is suggested to call USCIS customer service line. If you look at the bottom of your NOA1 form.

I forgot to fill in the country of birth for my husband but I will wait until NVC stage just so I don't cause any delay.

That's just my personal opinion but feel free to call the customer service line to find out how to resolve that.

My letter says to call them if anything is missing/incorrect... Id say a missing country is a reason to contact them? I would in your shoes. But yes for my issue I'll give them a couple more days just cos it's the start of the week I think then follow it up by phone :-)

I just realised I answered two diff posts in one, that may have been confusing haha.

My letter didn't include my middle name even though we supplied it so I wouldn't stress about it at this point.

Case arrived at Embassy: 21st April 2017

No need to contact them. They didn't provide a middle name in my NOA either. I previously filed a petition for my prior spouse in the past, it didn't have a middle name either

I posted this in the Nebraska i-130 March forum, but wanted to share here as well...

I'm planning to file jointly with my husband for taxes this year. I've learned you have to get an ITIN for your spouse. You can also file for an extension to submit your taxes for up to 6 months so long as you dont have to pay in to IRS.

Also, I have very happy news, on April 12, 2016 we received the approval from Nebraska, a total miracle of God! I requested an expedite of the process due to our circumstances (you have to qualify for the expedite, and there are specific requirements), and though I never heard if they approved to expedite, by God's grace instead on Tuesday we got news that his visa application was approved. All glory to Jesus Christ, now onto the next step. Be encouraged, God can do something beyond the norm as we put our trust in Him!

I also wanted to share with you all an app that you can download on a smart phone to get instant notifications as things change on the USCIS website. I've found it to be alerting me real time as status and details change/progress! I'd recommend it to everyone!

You can file an extension but that must be file before the tax filing deadline else you will end up paying late filing fee or penalty. So you need to file before April 18th (3 days).

How you doing Vtbui86?please how long does it take you to get your I-130 petition approved?do you file I-129F at all after your I-130 got approved?

It took my I-130 30 days to approve back in 2008 at California Service Center. I-129F is for Fiance, not for spouse. After the I-130 is approved, it will get transferred to NVC where you will fill out more paperwork. If you look at the user "kevinbui86", you will see how look it took from filing date to approval. That was my old username when I original filed for my prior spouse
