Good Morning ,

How many March fillers are still waiting for I-130 approval ? My PD is March 29th. Spoke to Tier 2 supervisor this morning and he said " YOU'RE STILL WITHIN THE PROCESSING TIME AS NEBRASKA IS PROCESSING CASES FROM MARCH 2ND " which I know is a COMPLETE lie . I have a friend who filled in May and had her approval two weeks ago. I am so upset . I don't know what to do. He won't open a service request for me . He said to call back in 45 days and he will open one but, right now I have to WAIT.

Wait time us max 5 months. Once youre at 5 months you can call everyday and annoy them.

3/7/16- Sent our packet

3/11/16- NOA 1

Lots of impatient waiting! :bonk:

7/22/16- NOA 2 (I could not beleive my eyes!)

8/1/16- Case sent to NVC

8/12/16- NVC received (I had to call to get supervisor to send welcome letter)

8/19/16- was when I called NVC to figure out if they received it

8/22/16- Received case number

8/23/16- Paid AOS

8/26/16- DS-261

9/1/16- Paid IV

9/6/16- DS-260

9/8/16- sent both packets

9/9/16- NVC received

9/12/16- NVC scanned

10/11/16- Received false checklist DS260 missing- they said it was mistake

10/25/16-Supervisor review

11/1/16-Expedite approved when documentarily complete

11/10/16-Checklist-we pleaded with consulate to just accept our case and review missing documents diring interview

11/16/16- Case Complete and sent to consulate- Finally- this was the most exhausting wait :dead:

11/23/16- Interview date received :dance:

1/4/17- Interview not before christmas but at least we got one!

0/0/17- Visa received

0/0/17- POE fee paid

0/0/17- Travel to US POE Miami

0/0/17- SS# received

0/0/17- Greencard received

In the home stretch!!! :dancing:

You wait for first NOA.. the case number prefix will tell where it was transferred to. And you don't need a lawyer unless you have a complicated case. Use the guides here to help you. Someone tried

I filed in mid-April and received a very exact answer by doing a congressional inquiry. You should try it.

Thats what a few people suggested. I am going to call them again. I need answers !! The guy I spoke with won't even open a service request for an inquiry. Asked me to wait 30 more days. " you're within the processing time " smh... Thats just ridiculous.

No approval yet, but yes, it helps give me piece of mind. I was getting no where with Tier 1 or 2. I found out my case had been transferred from Potomac to NBC (knew that part), then transferred again from NBC to my local office, I found out I am in queue for a marriage interview. My senator will reach back out in 30 days if I don't get an update in that time.

04/19/16 PD - NOA1 (Potomac Service Center)

07/13/16 Transferred to National Benefits Center to "speed up" processing

08/06/16 Transferred to Local Field Office (Philadelphia) for Marriage Interview

10/04/16 - Congressional Inquiry

01/05/17 - Ombudsman says will receive Interview letter within 30 Days!

02/01/17 - Marriage Interview

02/02/17 - I-130 Approved!!!  :D

No we didn't. I just checked the app and I see there are a few of us still waiting for the approval. I can't believe they are processing " April 2nd " cases. I opened up a service request yesterday :(

Hoping for an approval soon.

I hope all of you guys received i130 approval

My wife had her CR-1 interview yesterday and she passed. They issued a pink slip and told her the passport will be mailed home. The journey is not over, we will meet again for the 10 year green card renewal and citizenship

I know I sound like a broken record every time I write in here. Want to see if there are any March fillers still waiting for an approval of I-130.

I followed up on the service request I completed on 10/18/2016 . They said to wait 30 days before I call to inquire. I was transferred this morning to get a call back from Tier 2 Supervisor. I don't even know what to do at this point :(

I am beyond the " normal processing time " . I have contacted senators and they said they are looking into it.

PD March 29th
