Hi jay2090,

I am in the same boat, My case was approved on 11th August but NVC hasn't received it yet so I called USCIS as the status hasn't updated online. When USCIS sends the file to NVC, it will reflect on line as such and should call 4-5 after the update and then every other day until they confirm that they have received the case. Good look to all who are waiting.

Hello VJ friends!

We got our NOA1 on March 9th, 2016 and still nothing

Our file is at Nebraska Service Center, it's been almost 6 months, some of the other VJ members already got their NOA2 and filled before us, I wonder why this happens? This is the most frustrating wait guys!

We just got probably worst news. Well not the worst, but something I didn't know could happen. The accepted documents changed while we were in review... :ranting::ranting::ranting::cry::cry::cry: Sent the right documents. Got a checklist. Wasted a week of supervisor review. Get the nicest supervisor that actually looked up our country and confirmed what happened. Still SOL and time to respond to checklist. Biggest sigh in.the.world.

No its not in english , so do i need to send translation and certified copy ? And can i get translation for scaned and emailed document or my wife has to mail the original ?

No its should be translate by them, have you request them for an English police record? All the country makes english version.

You cant translate by yourself it have to be done by a certified translator, then you can send that copy with the original.

Scan and email. Originals you take to the interview. The NVC doesn't want originals and for translations its hit or miss. They told me I don't need translations for my documents.

Hi all

Little update so you know things are moving along.

My i130 was approved 3rd Aug (Nebraska), sent to NVC 18th Aug. Today (8th Sep - although its the 9th my side of the world) I got my welcome to NVC letter by email, along with the following.

For my husband (US citizen)

1) Welcome letter - with case number

2) How to contact NVC
3) Affidavit of support fee invoice
4) Document cover sheet
For myself
1) Welcome letter - with case number
2) How to contact NVC
3) Document cover sheet
Funny thing is I keep seeing people say you have to call constantly to get the case number, and that NVC don't contact you with it. I found it to be the opposite. Onward and upward! Just did the choose an agent DS-261 and paid the AOS fee.
I noticed "choose an agent" was on both mine and my husbands instructions. Should each of us be logging in to assign an agent?

Hello

I got my NOA1 on March 28. The case was forwarded to Nebraska service center. Still did not got an approval. I am going crazy, it has been over 5 months now.

I got my NOA1 on March 9th and still nothing, imagine how I feel! Pretty much all the March fillers I see on VJ are approved, even from before :(

Hello,

Is there any of you guys with NOA1 date from March and isn't approved yet?? My NOA1 date is March 9 and still no NOA2, most of the users I see are already approved, even though the USCIS website updated on their processing time that they're working on March 2nd this last September 15th. I would like to know if there's any others also going through the same :(
