Thanks for the number, I called and got through. No case number :( but they received my file the 8th of August :)

Mine took 16 days... I called on the 14th day since receipt and it wasn't assigned so I called on the 16th day ( it was assigned that morning)

Folks that are waiting for case number from NVC, give it two weeks (14 days) +1 or 2 days and call.

Success!!! Very excited, just phoned NVC, got through in about a minute (that's a miracle in itself) and they had literally just uploaded our case today :). Got our case number!

Was your NVC received date the date you got the "sent to NVC" notification? I got sent to NVC today but I'm unsure whether to put that date, or am I waiting for a received by NVC notification?

Was your NVC received date the date you got the "sent to NVC" notification? I got sent to NVC today but I'm unsure whether to put that date, or am I waiting for a received by NVC notification?

Sounds like the day USCIS posted it. For me, USCIS sent it on the 27th of July and NVC received it on the 2nd of August. I didn't find that out until I phoned them a couple of days ago. As far as I'm aware, you can't find out when they actually received it without calling them...

Yes I got my interview today for 10/11and it only took 2 days after my case was receive in santo Domingo. Very happy the whole visa procces only took 6 months ?

Congrats !!!! Thats was super fast, did you expedite your case ?

Yeah I did upcoming military deployment ! They call me in the morning and told me not to wait for a letter and to schedule my own appoiment. I Luck out they only had 1 open appoiment for october

It's been 2 weeks since NVC received case and as of now no case number! last call to NVC resulted in asking to call back tomorrow and speaking to a supervisor if the case number is still unavailable.
