Hello Everyone...I am a march filer myself for my spouse visa. I sent my case march 22 and got approved june 30 (they said june 29 over the phone but approved it online on june 30 and the letter said june 30). got my hard copy the beginning of this week and the petition was sent to NVC today (july 8). I am working on my AOS packet at the moment and I need help. I am just preparing ahead of time.

Anyone here an unemployed like me? I am wondering what should I put for my current income because the website said to put in another household member's info if unemployed however when I read Saylin's NVC processing post, it said to put in overall gross income from previous year. Anyone can help me with that?

I also have another question to the people whose cases went to Potomac and then to NVC, how long after the petition was sent to NVC from USCIS did NVC receive the case and assigned a number? I mean what was the processing times for people whose cases came from Potomac? I heard that it matter where the case came from along with the amount of petitions sent. I wanted to know what would be the best time to call NVC to find if a case number was assigned or not?

Thanks

I guess I should have clarified a bit more. I do have a sponsor and it is my brother but the form does ask to clarify how i am trying to survive or what other means of "income" i have. I guess my brother falls in that category and i dont know if and how to state that he is part of my household. I mean the section about household is strictly on immigrants so how will that help? the same goes on his form, I have to mention that I am under him but I don't see a place to say that. I guess I need specific help for this part. I did try searching but I am not able to find something specific to what I need.

thank you for the reply though.

I believe you will put zero for income since you said you have no income. Your brother is not part of your household regardless of him living there. Because he doesn't depend on you.

So you will get your brother to fill the sponsor form. On his form, he will include you and the intending immigrant. Ask in the AOS forum for some more advice.

after RFE notice will Caliing USCIS speed up the porcess or will it ruined

There's nothing you can do to speed it if it is not an approved expedite request.

Sorry, I know this is frustrating but hang in there.

Hello everyone, I have not commented in this thread yet but have been following closely! I received my NOA1 on March 23 and have not yet heard anything regarding being approved for NOA2. It seems like a lot of people have been approved already on here? Or are there still lots from earlier in March that are still waiting?
