Hitler, fundamentalist Christians, nationalists,fundementalist muslims and Zionists, insert religion of your choice here, all share a similar characteristics. I.e. the belief that what they do, is right and just and nobody will ever convince them otherwise. They will use their enemies actions to excuse anything that they do, and will claim that they are just defending themselves against barbarians or anyone who might fight back.

Having read Mein Kampf, I can tell you not alot of people today can be compared to Hitler.

Whether or not the comparison is fair, the sheer number of people making the comparison should give pause. For Trump to actually be compared to Hitler, he'd need to be elected, become a de facto dictator, go off the deep end, and commit atrocities of infamous proportion. It's not even 50:50 that he'll get elected in the first place.

I think it's worth considering not whether the comparison is worthy, but why the comparison is being made and why it's being made by so many. Not just here in the USA by people opposed to Trump, but by people around the world with no stake. Why does Anne Frank's half sister bring this up. What does she care about Trump? People don't compare you to Hitler just because they don't like you. There must be something there.

He's a tyrant, we've all this said before - there's nothing new there - that doesn't make him hitler, the comparison is wrong, and masses of people being wrong on this earth is nothing new.

As for the chances I agree it's not 50:50 I think it's 80:20 but for Trump.

I don't think he's Hitler either. I do think he's a demagogue. It's fair to say (since it's true) that he's studied Hitler and emulates some of the things that made Hitler charismatic and able to control a crowd. That doesn't make him Hitler. If you go down that road though, you probably deserve the comparisons you get.
