My girl just received packet 3 and I have read that only the following items get mailed back;

DS-160 Cover sheet

App of Readiness form filled out and signed

and her CENOMAR (which she has the original in hand)

now does the checklist go too? I say No she will bring it to the interview? Instructions are kinda grey on this .

She has to send the checklist and the certificate of readiness when all the documents she need is ready. Cenomar should send directly from NSO to US consulate HK.

Hi!You need to mail the ds-160 confirmation page,along with the HNK application for readiness, and also the documents checklist.The cenomar should send by the NSO Manila directly to the US embassy Hk. Gud luck!

Thank you all , yes I understand now , What happened was she knows someone at NSO who was able to get an original Cenomar when she was in Philippines in February but I just went and processed it on line anyway just to follow the exact instructions to be sent to HK to be safe and not to take chances if they happen to not electronically send.

JandJ I think we are almost right behind you guys. Just got her case number today. So hopefully with in a month or so she should be receiving the same stuff. Really curious how the interview goes for your fiancé there so I can prep my fiancé for it also., Keep us posted on your progress if you would. Thanks

Hi willygp ,Yea not a problem, I'll write up a post-interview review when she's finished, she should be receiving packet 4 anytime now and schedule her medical and we can finally prepare for the interview.

Congrats on your approval !!!! Question: Packet 4 arrives by post mail or by SF Express ?, just want to make sure she's home to sign for it or someone is at least and also did your medical appt take place about two weeks or so before your interview, Thanks again and congrats.....

I decided to send the HK consulate an email about packet 4 since it seems they are talking more time than usual , well they are very responsive to emails it seems they got back to me after one day and said they just sent out packet 4 yesterday and Joan's interview will be March 29th wow now faster than I thought. Anyway its a good tip to you all HK is very responsive to emails.......I will update the interview review when she's done. The end of the tunnel is near now .......

" very short notice" for sure ! , Joan is stressing out , no pk 4 yet and its the 23rd when she wakes? they said they sent out on the 18th it will be day 4 for us, they are giving her no time for medical and her interview is scheduled for the 29th and yet no pk 4, I'm wondering if she could reschedule to the following week.

Good morning from here.Sorry for my late reply. Anyway,how did you know that her schedule of interview is on 29?(As shown on your timeline). Because the interview schedule is in the packet 4.Just be patient,, and check the mail box, so that she will not miss it.Good luck.

No problem , thank you , I emailed the HK embassy last Thursday and they emailed me back with her interview date March 29th at 8:30 am and told me they just sent out her pk 4 on the 18th that's how I found out, ok thanks hopefully today she's checking again today.

Thank you , Yea finally she got it yesterday and is on her way to her exam, yea we have lots of evidence , but do they really grill you with questions? Thanks for your time....

Hi James and Joan,that's good to hear that she got the packet 4 already.The interview is quick and easy.. (but I guess,it depends on every case as well).As long as you have lots of evidence, and all your documents are complete,,they will not grill you..hehe...gud luck..it will be soon.
