Form DS-3025 and I-693 for AOS

Hello guys,

I'm a bit confused. As a K-1 visa holder, I'm not supposed to have a medical exams again, right? But I still need to fill I-693??

And if I fill I-693 - I guess I need to find a civil surgeon, right? - then do I need to send a copy of DS-3025 also? Because I don't have that, I gave the envelope to the guys at the airport and I have no copies of that.

My now husband wasn't given a copy of his medical exam, when he asked he was told it was property of the USC. So when I filled I filed I called to clarify and was told by customer service it was included in the package that was handed over at POE, so it should already be on file. As long as everything gets done,ie. AOS within a year of his medical exam in his home country everything should be fine. But that's not to say that it won't be requested. It can still happen.

But it seems that you don't have a copy of the DS-3025 so the question for you is, do you have all your vaccines up to date (I asked the doctor to give me a copy when I had my medical exam in my home country).

Even with a copy the DS-3025 and all my vaccines I am tempted to get a civil surgeon do a transcript and send in form I-693 anyway, just in case, to prevent an RFE.

I do have all those vaccines. I actually called to the doctor in my country who did all those tests for K1 visa, and he'll be able to provide a copy of the exams, fortunately!

The same thing here, I'll go to a civil surgeon and get the I-693 filled, I think it should be for free, right?

A vaccine transcript to form I-693 isn't free. I have read some people paying as little as $10. I guess it depends where you live. I'm in San Francisco and the cheapest around here seems to be $50...

My thinking is that $50 is worth paying if it avoids an RFE and a longer processing time for the application. But I'm 90% sure it's not needed so I'm torn...
