Hi everyone.

I came to the USA in December with the ESTA to visit my fiancé, but a week ago we decided to get married and now we're trying to figure out what to do.

Which are the vaccinations required? And how much would the price be for all the medical tests?

Thank you so much!!

Do you have a record of all your previous vaccinations? You need to schedule an appointment with a civil surgeon and fill out the medical form. https://my.uscis.gov/findadoctor

Costs vary from doctor to doctor. Mine charged me $150 cash to schedule the appointment and $60 for the Tdap booster I received. I wasn't allowed to use my insurance.

Yes. I do have a record of my vaccinations, but I have no idea if I'm gonna need other ones.

Should I call the different doctors and ask for their prices?

You can.

Should I call the different doctors and ask for their prices?

Absoulutely. I called around several doctors and the prices varied from $150 to $1000+ for the medical. I ended up paying around $240 because I needed 2 vaccinations.

They all seem to want to be paid cash for this. I was unable to use my insurance.

There is no need to do the medical before you file. Some prefer to get it out of the way, some wait - its up to you. After talking to several civil surgeons I discovered that I can get in to have it completed with just a few days notice so I decided to wait. One month after I filed I got a letter from USCIS reminding me to bring the completed medical with me to the interview so it hasn't held my case up from I can see.

Some people have had RFEs for not including the medical form in with the original packet.

Even after they officially changed the instructions to make it 'optional'?

That I don't know, but if you can get it done now, why wait?

There's a chart somewhere that shows what vaccinations you need for the age you are and the months that you'll be adjusting. Luckily I got to skip the flu vaccination, but I had to have a Tdap and MMR booster. I went to my local free clinic to have it done though or it would has cost me a lot more than $30.

I didn't know that I had the possibility to wait!!

I just called and they all asked me from $150 to $500, which is not too bad.

When I mail the I-485 with the I-131 and the I-765, those 2 are free, right?!
And can I mail the I-130 at the same time of the I-485, or I have to wait first?

the 131 and 765 are fee-free when filed with the 485, yes.

Yes you should file them concurrently.
