Do I need letter from employer?

Hi everyone,

I will soon file for AOS.

My wife's income is above 125% the poverty guideline based on the number of households in our family. With that being said, do I still need to include in the AOS package the letter from my wife's employer?

It is a good idea, but it is not absolutely required. If you have tax filings and recent paystubs showing her continued income that is enough.

Me: Irish/ Swiss citizen, and now naturalised US citizen. Husband: USC; twin babies born Feb 08 in Ireland and a daughter in Feb 2010 in Arkansas who are all joint Irish/ USC. Did DCF (IR1) in 6 weeks via the Dublin, Ireland embassy and now living in Arkansas.

As far as I know only tax returns are required. Other things like employer letter, pay stubs, bank statements can be used as supporting evidence if you feel it would help you prove your income.

Your current income can only be proved by pay stubs, employer letters, etc. Past tax returns record income from past years, not current income, which is what matters.

I didn't and I am above the 125% poverty level too. Only included tax returns. I don't believe I even sent in pay stubs.

No RFEs and our case status is "case ready to be scheduled for interview."
