hello can i ask your best advise on our situation, we are on NVC stage now but since filing season my husband (petitioner) will file his tax but what he will put MFJ or MFS he was confused everytime he called IRS he was advised first to file MFJ for as long we can provide my certified passport here in Manila..and thats what i did i request for it but it will only be available by Mar 11. so he can apply for my ITIN.. now he was advised to file MFS since were not yet living together and put NRA(non resident alien) ..we are so confused bec the filing is up to Aprl 15, and were also completed on our AOS and IV fees..i have DS 260 also.just this tax thing..pls help us what o do.. thank you

Me: Irish/ Swiss citizen, and now naturalised US citizen. Husband: USC; twin babies born Feb 08 in Ireland and a daughter in Feb 2010 in Arkansas who are all joint Irish/ USC. Did DCF (IR1) in 6 weeks via the Dublin, Ireland embassy and now living in Arkansas.
