Please don't hate me for asking this question, but I've been reading and just can't find an answer or I'm looking in the wrong place! But I'm just wondering will NVC make contact via email or good old snail mail?? The wait is killing me lol!

Spent the last 2.5 years travelling between countries & deciding on where we are going to live...USA IT IS!!! ??
28/09/2015 - I-130 submitted
06/10/2015 - NOA 1 received
04/02/2016 - Approved! NOA 2 received via text
17/02/2016 - Petition sent to NVC
24/02/2016 - NVC received
08/03/2016 - Case number & IIN number received over the phone
09/03/2016 - Form DS-261 completed
09/03/2016 - AOS Fee paid
18/03/2016 - Received and paid IV Bill
22/03/2016 - Sent AOS & IV Documents
24/03/2016 - Scan date
08/04/2016 - Received RFE - apparently I didn't send I-864 form (as if I would forget that!) and police certificate (admittedly I sent the wrong one?)
18/04/2016 - Resent required documents (had to wait a week for new police certificate)
20/04/2016 - 2nd scan date for RFE documents
09/05/2016 - Case Completed ? (Now just waiting for interview date!!!)
26/05/2016 - Received Interview letter via email, interview scheduled for 26/07/2016 ??

Call them to check on case. .. number is in the first link in my signature.

My welcome letter came after I got everything done by using that link. Once I confirmed nvc got my petition, I called 11 days after and got case number.

7/30/2015 Sent I130 priority mail to have tracking, I suggest you do the same.

8/4/2015 NOA1 (Nebraska)

12/17/2015 NOA2

12/24/2015 Petition Sent to NVC from Nebraska

1/4/2016 petition received at NVC (call and confirm it arrives. About 15 days try to get your case number and receipt number, I got mine in 11 days)

1/15/2016 Called NVC and got case/invoice number logged into this site to pay fees, pick agent -> https://ceac.state.gov/IV/Login.aspx 1/15/2016 picked agent DS-261

1/18/2016 paid aos fee

1/28/2016 review 261 to get iv fee unlocked ( unlocked once I did review,was taking to long)

2/1/ 2016 sent AOS & IV packets together to nvc while I waited for iv fee to open to save time.

2/4/2016 paid IV Fee and waited to do ds260

2/3/2016 nvc received aos and iv packets(scan date)

2/7/2016 ds260 completed and now waiting for cc

♧CASE COMPLETE. .. march 8th

3/11/15 interview email

4/20/15 shots 4/25/15 rest of medical exam

INTERVIEW APRIL 27TH @8:30

April 27th 221g for additional documentation and placed in administrative processsing.

June 20th submitted evidence requested

June 23rd case was touched by embassy

August 1st case was touched again.

AUGUST 16TH embassy called and wants a new co sponser yet he met requirements.

Found a new co-sponsor

Handed in aos sept 11th

Set 18th another update

Sept 28th update and embassy called

SEPT 29TH ISSUED FINALLY

OCT 2nd visa in hand

POE October 22nd 2016

Usually email. But my Welcome Letter never came via email. It cam snail mail. I called the day after they created the case# and sent the letter so I gave over mine and my husbands email and it's been emails since.

So to answer you, usually email :goofy: . And we don't hate questions (we'll I don't). (L)

Thank you both for the reply....so in saying that, I just tried to call them and it tells me the number is not connected ?And I'm pretty sure I'm dialling the number correctly...I call the US everyday! Any more suggestions?? ?

Let's verify what number you are calling outside US than its

009-1-603-334-0700

They are open 7am to midnight Eastern time.

Thank you, I was ringing the right number from here, but for some stupid reason it wouldn't connect...but I had success this morning ? Lol, they received it on the 24/2 sadly no case number yet ? #######!! Oh well I'll just keep bugging them now ?
