Probably not worth it. I really think that since the president has to govern the entire US the entire US should vote on him or her; the electorate system is a mess and a popular vote far more straight forward.

I'd have to agree with you there.

i feel like i'd rather die than vote for any of them. honestly, being a woman and knowing where all these fools stand on women's rights, yeah i'd rather just die than back any of them. kasich is probably less moderate than trump on that particular issue. although trump is more openly misogynist and foul overall. i know i know, part of his shtick. if i had to, carson. i feel like a vote for carson is vote into a special sort of void. a void with no real political path forward :content:

lol, fair enough.

I respect the fact you don't feel compelled to vote for hillary just because she is a she.

It's a shame elizabeth warren never ran, but probably the democrats in power would have shut her down because she is too good for them. And because when she says big banks need to be beaten up she actually means it.

Good luck!

What makes you think that of Warren? Most people I know including myself think Warren is a train wreck.

you'll be happy to know that the constant refrain from my female friends/family is "we want a female president but we want the right female president - that ain't hillary" now, i do think that refrain will change as we get closer to november. but it won't have anything to do with getting a 'first she' president.

yes. if elizabeth warren were running, i'd be voting for her.

weird, most people i know love her.

I noticed her years ago as one of the few meaningful voices speaking out against banks when neither republicans or democrats were doing more than dishonest lip service.

Perhaps biden/warren could have been an interesting ticket, but we'll never know. Instead we get hillary. Can't wait to see who she picks as VP.

Good luck!

She might speak out against banks, but she is no stranger to working the system to get ahead and she is worth millions. She lied about having American Indian heritage for years to game the affirmative action system and get a job teaching at Harvard. After getting the job she stopped listing herself as American Indian. Her job teaching at Harvard consisted of one class a week for approx $250K a year. From 2010 to 2011 she made almost 500K income from Harvard alone. She is a typical politician, she claims to be for the people and against the rich and corrupt, yet she is one of the rich and corrupt. She performs horribly in debates, not knowing answers to questions she should, and she often looks lost in tv interviews.

buzzkill for nuttin?! what a wet blanket!!

:energy:

I don't think Warren is any worse than most politicians, they all lie, cheat and steal. But I've never understood the nationwide swoon in her popularity after only a year or so as a state senator. She really hasn't been around long enough to warrant that support.
