We all have to wait the 30 days... they are working as fast as they can. Be patient, it's a lot less of a wait then uscis ;-)

Azzien I know they have improved but it's just driving me crazy waiting for 30 days to look at some documents. Thanks faraIdir for reply

imagine how many come in each day. It's not that it takes 30 days to review your packets, it's that it takes that time for your turn in the line because of all the others before you who been waiting their turn.

And you need to prepare cause you can even get a check list. So patience is key in this waiting game. Don't worry, it will all be over soon

all of this depends on how many cases

holiday time

when a visa number is ready

and important of all How fast petitioner gets required documents to NVC and pays fees

here is an example of what can happen if you do not follow thru as required the case number created is May 23 2014 (NVC date not when it was sent to USCIS)

not to discourage you but when you check your case number in CSEA check case numbers around your number

Case Creation Date: 23-May-2014

Status Updated Date: 22-Feb-2016

Your case is ready for your interview when scheduled at the U.S. Consular section. If you have already scheduled an appointment for an interview, please prepare your documents as directed in your appointment letter and appear at the consulate on the appointed date and time. Otherwise, please wait until you have been notified of your interview appointment. Additional information about how Immigrant Visa interview appointments are scheduled can be found at: http://nvc.state.gov/interview
there are many stuck at this stage so get everything together as needed (one thing you now have to send to NVC is criminal investigation report(s) on beneficary. it used to be reuired at interview but now is sent to NVC. How fast can you get it to your spouse to send in? when they get all documents, they will send 2 bills to pay the required fees. Then you are really on your way.
Good luck and God Bless you
