Five members of the Ku Klux Klan, apprehended Saturday during a violent scuffle in Anaheim, California, were released the following day by local police who said the group members were acting in self-defense.

"It was pretty convincing that the KKK members were attacked violently," police spokesman Sgt. Daron Wyatt said Monday, CNN reported. "We had to do the right thing." Police told CNN the decision to release the members was based on dozens of interviews with witnesses and an analysis of photographs and video footage.

I don't know. There's a thin line between hate speech and provoking violence. You know as well as I do, the KKK gets more love than BLM.

Yes, I've read a lot of articles over the past year that spoke highly of the aspirations of the KKK. Heck, foxnews has an apologist regularly pop up saying things like "What black people don't get about the KKK". Janelle is spot on. Everyone has the right to be hateful and shouldn't be attacked for it physically.

Yes really. Even here, BLM gets a WORSE rap than the KKK. Just like Lib's thread about the KKK and aliens. If this was BLM, we'd be on page 6 by now.

Seems hard to believe but if it's true perhaps it's because the KKK is, as I've repeatedly said, irrelevant in the US. How often is it in the news? It doesn't even have 10,000 members. So disliked they can be attacked and then the people who are attacked are also the ones arrested. Don't be scared of the kkk. You've probably never met one and never will. They dress like they are at a cosplay event and live out in the sticks.

Actually I have. One of the guys that worked on base was an active member. And they've held rallies about 10 mins from where I used to be stationed on the weekends.

At first I didn't know so when I saw him I'd speak and be nice to him you know? And he seemed cool. I even tried to help him enlist in the Army when my coworker kept giving him the runaround. Finally confronted the guy I worked with and asked why he was holding up the dude's paperwork. He said, because he's a racist and in the KKK. I was like get out of here. He said next time you see him, take a good look at his tattoos on his forearms. Sure enough, he had the German symbol for the SS on his arm. I asked him flat out was he in the KKK. All he could say was, they're not like that anymore. And that was that.

So how many thousands of folks showed up . Every time these folks have a rally it makes news . Perhaps you could back up this multiple rally claims that went on for years. ... So when and where did this happen ?
