MFS 2015... confirmation of processing?

Does anyone know....

I am Married, Filing Separately because last year I got married to a Peruvian host country national and he doesn't have a SSN so I'm doing it this way because he is a Non-Resident Alien. Next year we will file together.

My question is: I had to print out my taxes this year and send them in, but I don't owe any taxes, they don't owe me any taxes ($0/$0) but how will I know that the IRS has received and processed my return? Asking this because my address is my foreign one, but I have a different mailing address.

What's the deal on this you think?

02/23/2016: I-130 Submission DCF Lima, Peru

03/16/2016: NOA2 APPROVAL

06/28/2016: Interview at Embassy: APPROVED!!!

August 2016: Will enter the USA!

go to the IRS site and request your tax transcripts. Usually I use Turbo tax and it let's me know when my return is received and when it is complete.

I don't know of any other way since you are not getting any money and don't owe.

2nd go round

1st K-1 Denied

Subitted Feb 2-6-15

NOA1 - 2-18-15

NOA2 - 8-18-15

Interview 11-25-15 - Denied

And Here we go again -

New K1 submitted - 1-9-16

NOA1 - 1-12-16 (according to USCIS)

Text received 1-15-16

hardcopy - not received yet as of 1-26-16
