Thanks JGD108!

I moved just before the interview as well. As we were going through my application and the immigration officer asked for my address, I let him know that the current address I had written on the application was no longer the case and I had a new address. He crossed out the old address and wrote the new one in pen on the form, and we carried on with the rest of the application. It wasn't an issue at all, and no questions were asked. He also reassured me that the oath letter would go to the new address. Hope this helps!

I'm curious when you updated your address to USCIS and if the officer saw that as well.

I moved 2 days before the interview, so the interview was the first time I updated my address with USCIS. I was thinking to call them beforehand, but it was Memorial Day weekend and I figured they wouldn't be open until the day of the interview anyway.

Thanks kris_hetfield. No oath date was provided. In NY, they don't give it to you on the spot. They send you a letter in the mail after the interview letting you know the oath date. That should arrive in the next week or so hopefully. I'm not an early filer.

Hi guys! For the people who already got their interview letter, do you know how much time passed between the notification your interview was scheduled and getting the letter in the mail? I got the notification last Monday May 23rd but I still haven't received the letter! I'm hoping it wasn't lost somewhere...

Well I actually have two letters. Both took 3 days to arrive after I got notices online.

no it doesn't. date and time info comes in the mail.

Nope! You'd have to wait for the notice in the mail or call uscis to find out your interview date, time and location! Good luck!

Congrats to all fellow Marchers for their progress! :thumbs: I was curious about hearing from those of you who were recently interviewed; what kind of evidence/documentation did you bring with you, and what did the IO ask you to show him/her? :)

I haven't done my interview but I will share snapshots of the Interview Document Checklist (For N-659) that came with the interview notice mail. post-225612-0-71015400-1464965893_thumb.jpgpost-225612-0-06158400-1464965898_thumb.jpg

The only statement interview letter adds on top of the checklist is "If copies of a document were submitted as evidence with your N400 application, the originals of those documents should be brought to the interview."

The rest just depends on the interviewing officer, some may try to dig deep on a particular issue and issue an RFE in the end and some may not ask anything at all and let you go in 5 mins. I think you will hear stories from both ends.
