Thanks GandL! It was a tier 1 that did it for me. They process the requests in only one day; just make sure you fax/email evidences if they weren't included in the app. Good luck :)

Thanks for the info! I just found out that I have to travel overseas for work at the end of June, so if I don't get an interview notice soon I might try to have my application expedited. Thanks and congrats again!! :D

So a bit of a backstory, they rejected our initial application because I pulled a bonehead move; I was in a hurry at the post office, and on the check, wrote $680.00 in the number field, but wrote out, "Six hundred and 00/100" dollars, so they couldn't process my payment. They sent the whole thing back, which took a few weeks since we're overseas, so we re-filed the end of April and they just cashed the check on the 6th, so here's hoping they process it completely this time.

I am the USC.

Thanks nonanone12. I am in Manhattan and my field office is in Manhattan as well.

It seems the Long Island, Queens and Manhattan field offices all service Corona/Queens County so you may need to wait to find out where you'll be interviewed.

Officially in line for an interview!!! Great posts on the subject by the way. Ours follows the timeline perfectly! 30 days before our GC date would have been Saturday May 7, so it got pushed to the Monday following the weekend.... awesome!!!

Hey guys I got the interview letter. Notice date was May 6th and interview will be on June 13th.

Do you guys know if I need original copy's for the documents they need like my husbands birth certificate and divorce decrees for prior marriage or copies should work?

Hey guys I got the interview letter. Notice date was May 6th and interview will be on June 13th.

The interview letter says, "If copies of documents were submitted... the originals of those documents should be brought to the interview."

I think that means they want originals, but I assume there are some people who took copies to the interviews and were fine.

Seems strange. Think there is anything in your history that could complicate your background check? I have a very complicated foreign name and my case didn't take very long to be in-line.

The only complicated thing for Americans in my name is the hyphenated last name, and for the biometrics they put with and without the hyphen to be safe.

Got my interview letter in the mail today. Interview June 15th.

Congratulations!!! Really good news , i am out of state for couple days ,was not able to check my mail box!!! But my online status is the same . It says interview scheduled and we will send you a mail !!! What about your status ,does it changed to "we send you a mail or we will send you ,without changing . Thank you !!!
