It is quite usual for them to ask for additional evidence at the interview. Some of what they ask for is not listed on any list.

They can ask for evidence about your current eligibility for naturalization or about how you got your green card.

For example, if you got your green card through marriage then got divorced and applied under the 5 year rule, they can ask for evidence that you were in a legitimate relationship when you got your green card. This is not common, but happens from time to time, including to a handful of VJ members this year. The checklist for a 5 year applicant doesn't say anything about proof of past relationships, but they can still ask for it. If you don't have it with you, you'll be given an opportunity to send it in. This is just an example.

However of the form 659-N that accompanies the interview letter, they have it stated on there that because the list is generic, the IO can request to see any of it that may be applicable to you. Which means, even though they may not have requested you to bring an item in the appointment letter, the IO can ask to see it it it is applicable to you.

I think this has come about since they updated the application form and its instructions

Thanks for the helpful information... I was thinking about that too.. However, it looks like people get inline notices very quickly in the Texas office (even if they apply early). I really hope your observation is correct, because if that's the case, I will get my inline notice on Monday Fingers crossed

Did check online status today ,it says " in line for the interview" since april 28 ,i had my biometrics on april 25 !!! Does it mean that they already got the result of the biometric (FBI ) check ?? Or its just routine thing ??

Generally it's a good sign and means that your checks are completed. In a few cases, checks continue after being placed inline and result in delayed interviews. In very few cases, checks continue after the interview. In all likelihood, your checks are done.

The table doesn't show your green card date, but for example if it's June 5th, then I'd expect you to be placed inline on May 5th. If you are already past that mark, then you'll be placed inline as soon as they're done with your checks.

My green card is good until 2018 (10 year card).....I've been married for 13 years this year, so thought it was about time I did citizenship. I'm in no hurry for an interview, just want my background check to be completed.

Sounds like you didn't apply early, so you'll just be placed inline when your background check is done; no additional waiting.
