Hi there,

I am sending the form I-864 for my sister, her two kids and her husband to NVC. I need to know being the petitioner (sponsor), sending in the first page of my 1040 tax return would be enough or should I send all the pages? My second question is, do I need to submit separate I-864 for each one of them? If so, whose name do I need put in the section "Part 2. Information About the Principal Immigrant" ? I understand I would need to put my sister's information there as she is the principal immigrant applicant, but for others do I need to put their names there? Please advise. Thank you so much.

You need to send in the entire federal tax return and the W2s. If you don't want to do this, you can provide the IRS Tax Transcripts instead (they're only 2-4 pages). You can request them online: https://www.irs.gov/Individuals/Get-Transcript

If it's only one case (the husband and children are derivatives) then yes, you only need one I864.

You put your sister's name in Part 2 and her family members name in Part 3.

Yes, for each applicant if they have a different petition. Your sister's husband and her kids are derivatives and on the same petition as her.

Being the agent and petitioner for my sister I need to send the I-864 (affidavit of support) to NVC. The welcome letter that I received in my email has a document cover sheet that has checklist of all the docs that need to be sent to NVC. The list had 2 passport size 2 x 2 photographs for each applicants also. Do I need to send the pictures along with all other required doc. listed on that cover sheet checklist with the I-864? Please advise. Thank you again.

Yes, send everything on that checklist in one package, including the I864.

Put the cover sheet on top of all the documents.
