Hey, guys!!

I, as the beneficiary, am filling out my DS160 and I just stumbled on the "how many times have you visited the United States?" question. I am currently visiting my fiance here in Connecticut and my stay will be until around March 15th, then I'll go back to Brazil. So, since I arrived here about a month ago (30 days) + the 15 days still remaining, what should I tick? 30, the time since my arrival until now or 45, the total time?? Thanks in advance =)

How many times versus how long you stay? Very different. If you are asking "total time in USA," then 45 days will be accurate answer (assuming you leave on time).

Obviously, 30 days would not be an accurate answer - and you know it is not accurate.

Choose the "best" answer. 45 days.

"How many times" means the number of visits you have made to the US.

If they wanted to know how many days you have been in the US, the question would be "How much time or How many days have you spent in the US?"

I've never completed this form so I might be off base. My response is based on my past life as an English teacher.

Boa sorte!
