My son and daughters are having an interview sometime April. They are all under the age of 14. My son and daughter all have a different interview date. I don't know why but one is in the middle of April and one at the end. Do we(as me and my wife) need to be at the interview? Due to my work schedule and unavailability to take off work, I can't attend their interview at all. Can they show up at the interview by themselves? Of course an adult will take them to the consulate but do we physically have to be there at the interview? Thank you for the help and respond.

I believe a parent/guardian needs to attend.

An underage child going to the interview without the parents will definitely rise a red flag. If you cant make it, at least ask your wife to accompany them. Otherwise you will risk putting their visas in administrative processing and background checks which will delay the visas by several months.
