We are waiting for the interview date and his OK to do his Medical Exam. He has been trying to get his vaccination records together with little luck. His Dr. says they can draw blood to see what he has been vaccinated against.

The list that was linked Is a bit confusing as to just what he needs. pdf.gif U.S. Immigration Vaccinations.pdf

Specifically the Hepatitis A and B, these are given in a series of 3 shot over several months. I did't think these were required in the U.S. I never had my kids vaccinated for Hep A and B.

What does the YES and NO after each vaccine? If he has to have everyone of those vaccinations not only is it very $$$ its also going to take more than a month.

I would rather be hated for who I am, than loved for who I am not ...

I'm from Canada too and I didn't need a Hep A vaccine as I was to old they do it by age I got Hep B in high school so I'm not sure about that. I think you just need Tdap and MMR along with proof of chicken pox or varicella vaccine and flu shot if it's flu season. I'm pretty sure that's it.

Hold onto your hat its going to be a bumpy ride!!

but don't worry you'll get through it :luv:

Tdap

MMR

Verbal chicken pox or varicella vaccine

Influenza during flu season

that's it. Rest is not age appropriate until about 65.

The docs can test for immunity too. Mine did it for free. I needed mumps or measles, I forget which, so got the MMR and TDap again. They hurt but they were needed so were also free at the local health unit vs at the medical.
