That sucks for her, but the people do this to her are, in fact, real muslims. Even if she disagrees with them.

The Daesh are twisted Islamic extremists with pure evil in their hearts, Supposed Sunnis, yet rejected by a majority of Sunnis. My friend is Sunni. I wonder what the total is of the Sunnis Daesh has murdered, not to mention all other faiths in addition? Whatever one chooses to call people like that, whatever their beliefs, it is pure evil that is seen, just as a person who calls oneself "Christian" and kills scores of people in an abortion clinic reflects only evil in heart as well.

It just isnt right to lump everyone into one group. Need to look inside the individual. My good friend is Sunni Muslim, and I see more goodness in her than many professing Christians, and she likewise looked into my heart and accepted me not based on what I believe, but accepted me based on what she saw in my own heart. That is why we are friends.

You know, she had plenty of reason to never have given me a chance as a friend. I was an officer in the US Army. I heard the bombs exploding, the very bombs she heard as she stood outside her home with her sister wondering if that was her last day to be alive. Her cousin's fiance was ripped in half by one of those bombs and her aunt burned to death when the house they were hiding under was hit, upsetting a container of fuel oil, and burned. I am proud of my service in the military, yet their is much heartache I feel for the innocent ones who suffer unintentionally. And I am proud of my wife's service in the Air Force Air National Guard. And I am encouraging my son to pursue a career as a military pilot, since that is what his desire is. And my Muslim friend knows all that. Yet she didnt use events in war like I mentioned to judge me or Christians as a whole. She used to have Christian friends as well in Mosul, before they were all murdered or escaped or went into hiding. It would have been easy for me to judge and reject Muslims as a whole too because of the mess that war made of my life to this day too. We need to approach people one on one and go by the heart. That's just the way I see it.
