Sure they are. The Muslims have taken over Indonesia, Malaysia, Pakistan, Bangladesh, Iran and other countries.

If you look at historical sites.. you'll find Hindu/ Buddhist cultural sites everywhere that were built 1000+ years ago but today to speak of Hinduism or Buddhism in those countries is grounds for hanging under blasphemy laws.

Ditto on real Muslims are not the problem. My dearest friend is Muslim and a captive of ISIS in Mosul, Iraq. She is seeing all the ugliness of those monsters first hand. Cant even go to the store without fear. She takes great risks at going to the edge of town to call out on her cell phone. She is Muslim and I am Christian, yet we are human beings the same, and we have been as close as brother and sister for 10 years... She called the day my son was born to be part of it... She has suffered so much through her life.

That sucks for her, but the people do this to her are, in fact, real muslims. Even if she disagrees with them.

Don't take the jokers on here who work very hard to lump all Muslim's in with ISIS and other Radical Islamic groups together too seriously.

Implicit in this question is the challenge: How do we know if somebody is a muslim or not? Based on the fact they do not in fact have membership cards, we need to go on their own claims; are they familiar with the koran and do they say it motivates their beliefs and behaviors? If not, not a muslim. If so, muslim. I think we'd use this for deeming inclusion in other groups such as christianity, fans of baseball, american idol, or foreign movies.
