I believe the Democrats needed a third candidate. Maybe Joe Biden would be better than the current candidates.

I think Joe Biden would have given Hillary a good run. I'm surprised at how well Sanders has done so far, it just goes to show how tired the people are of politics as usual.

Most of trump's fans know nothing about politics. They say he will run the country as he runs his businesses, mean and money machine. They dont know that politics requires diplomacy and they dont realize that other countries are not his employees to tell them what to do and what not to do.

What I saw of that "debate" last night was a disgrace. Presidential candidates swapping ####### size insults in a nationally televised debate? I think we've scraped the bottom of the barrel. But you know what they say, "sometimes you gotta hit rock bottom".................

Indeed it is a disgrace. You know where I used to live, in Lebanon. There was this very rich business man who had around 11 Billion Dollars, he was nominated to be the Prime Minister. Everyone said that he is a smart man and he will run the country in a good way and will make things better. He brought the country back like 20 years, he damaged the economy, forced too many small business to close, ruined the relations between Lebanon and neighbor countries and caused a state of hate and anger among the citizens toward each other. He is not the PM anymore, he even left Lebanon to live his fancy life in Europe, Monaco. While the country is still suffering from his term as a PM. He had nothing to do with politics.

Unfortunately yes. But I also don't see any path forward. Both parties, and all of their candidates have basically sold out to those that pay the money so they can stay in office. Representing the people has fallen aside to the need to raise money to in order to win an election. I view Trump running as the rich changing their thinking to instead of buying candidates, lets just buy the elections ourselves. Less muss and fuss that way.

The two parties have wrote laws to maintain their hold over the political offices in this country. An independent hasn't much chance under the current system, nor does the rise of the third party. So the parties have turned to carp, and yet there is no way to get them out.

Sometimes I think I'd rather Trump than Hillary if only to make a stand against what would be our nation becoming an oligarchy. Then, I think he says absolutely nothing of substance...whereas she would at least know not to be offensive to everyone. Two very terrible choices, and why I so wish Bernie would get the nomination.

Voting for someone just make a point about something rarely works out. That's what is happening in Sweden right now and the country is slowly becoming more and more anti semitic. I hope Bernie gets the nomination.
