Hey I received an email,they changed my case# to GZO.

How long does it take to get Scan date?

And I only sent one year W2,tax return.it that ok?

Does any one know?

I'm so mad right now. Scan date 19th February.. Called NVC and she told me about the checklist of affidavit of support form. I need to send the latest version of that form. It wasn't my fault.. That form wasn't updated when we sent the documents. That's so not fair. Let's see what we receive in email. I hate this.. :@

When did you submit your AOS and IV Packages? Can you call and ask NVC if you can just bring the updated form to the interview since that's the only thing being check listed? Your finances haven't changed for less since you submitted the original one, have you? I don't know if they will allow it, but maybe call and ask?

As long as your W2, Tax Return info shows that you are 125% above the poverty line, you should be fine.

Did you provide them with your email address? If so, you will get an email letting you know they have received your documents. You can also call them and ask them to confirm when the documents were scanned into their system.

Keep in mind, the scan date might not be the same date as when they received your documents. I've learned that if your documents were delivered 3/18 (for example) and they scan it 2/22, the letter will say they received your documents on 3/18 and to allow 30 days from when they received your documents.

I think there is a 24 hour delay to when they actually send out emails. i.e...my original package was delivered 2/16, scanned 2/18, email received 2/19. Checklist generated 3/16, email received 3/17. checklist package delivered 3/18, Scanned 3/22 (yesterday)....haven't received email yet.

Sorry this is what happens when you are reading the post in email. You were responding to someone else and said you had same scan date they just got 3 NA's on 3/15 so I thought it was you saying you had 3 NA's so I added you. My bad.

So to get this right Parent has case complete children still waiting. Get on phone talk only to a supervisor to get this reviewed and fixed

Scan date Feb 12 saw 3 n/a so hopefully we got case complete today. Husband calling to find out. Not sure if I should get excited ????

Looks like you got that email you were waiting for. The email or the attachment should say when they received the docs, that is the scan date. You can call and verify if you want as well.

Regarding sending only one tax transcript and W2, I think that is fine because that is all that is required, as long as it is for the most recent tax year. Some people, including me, choose to send tax transcripts for the most recent three years just to be on the safe side and also as evidence of the income reported for the most recent 3 years that can be disclosed in the I-864. But as far as the wording of the requirement goes, only the tax transcripts for the most recent tax year is required.

YESS! Just got an email from NVC confirming that they have recieved our documents on march 18th! Sooo excited ?

Hi Hira,

The same checklist happened to me...the fault was ours since my husband downloaded the forms to his computer and didn't think to check for an updated version. We prepared our packets since early Nov and was awaiting the police clearance from my country. When we got the police certificate finally, we mailed out both packages. On day 35 of the docs being at nvc, I called and found out about our checklist for an updated version of their Affidavit of Support form...which was updated on Nov 30, 2015!

So...long story short...they didn't look at my i864s at all since the forms were expired! They told me to download the latest version and send it back in to them with ALL the supporting docs again...this would have an additional 30-45 day wait for them to review...again!! :mad:

Be patient and know that your case will complete soon.

Saw 3 N/A on the website... about to call NVC and confirm it.
