Scan date Feb 12 saw 3 n/a so hopefully we got case complete today. Husband calling to find out. Not sure if I should get excited ????

Your father's tax transcripts will do. It has everything they need.

Sure print up the SS income report.

Proof of relationship doesn't pertain to spousal visa types. That's for a different thing.

You don't have to show any evidence proof of relationship with joint sponsor.

You are free to send in evidence of your bonafide relationship. You can submit more evidence, or for those who didn't know and Want to send some evidence. Or whatever. You don't have to if you did enough with your initial petition.

AOS has been paid. Waiting for the IV fee to activate. I did find out that we are going to need a copy of my husbands first marriage certificate though. That, unfortunately, may take some time due to the nature of home affairs in RSA. Hopefully it won't take too long. :clock:

I'm confused you said you had Case Complete 3/15. So is it case Complete now 3/22?

You do need to show proof of your relationship to your joint sponsor. Mine is my father and I got a checklist for not showing proof. I sent my birth certificate to the NVC.

A marriage certificate of past marriage? Why? Wouldn't the divorcee decree suffice?

That's odd I know many people who have no relationship with joint sponsor some don;t even know them. They sent no proof of relationship there was none.

Good morning guys!

I paid AOS on the 03/10/16 which shows paid but IV I paid on 03/13/16 which still shows in process. I called NVC to inform them that I can't fill out the DS 260. The agent told me it takes 7 days to process. Even though it says 2-3 business days on the website to process.

Did it take anyone 7 days to unlock the DS 260?

mine took 7 days

My scan date is also 19th feb :(.. Still no CC :(

keep checking ceac site... it's gonna be soon

1/15/2016 Called NVC and got case/invoice number logged into this site to pay fees, pick agent -> https://ceac.state.gov/IV/Login.aspx 1/15/2016 picked agent DS-261

1/18/2016 paid aos fee

1/28/2016 review 261 to get iv fee unlocked ( unlocked once I did review,was taking to long)

2/1/ 2016 sent AOS & IV packets together to nvc while I waited for iv fee to open to save time.

2/4/2016 paid IV Fee and waited to do ds260

2/3/2016 nvc received aos and iv packets(scan date)

2/7/2016 ds260 completed and now waiting for cc

♧CASE COMPLETE. .. march 8th

3/11/15 interview email

4/20/15 shots 4/25/15 rest of medical exam

INTERVIEW APRIL 27TH @8:30

April 27th 221g for additional documentation and placed in administrative processsing.

June 20th submitted evidence requested

June 23rd case was touched by embassy

August 1st case was touched again.

AUGUST 16TH embassy called and wants a new co sponser yet he met requirements.

Found a new co-sponsor

Handed in aos sept 11th

Set 18th another update

Sept 28th update and embassy called

SEPT 29TH ISSUED FINALLY

OCT 2nd visa in hand

POE October 22nd 2016

They don't have a divorce decree. She passed due to complications from diabetes. We have a copy of her death cert but the lovely woman at NVC said he will need to provide his marriage cert to her also to prove they were married. :unsure:
