Need some advice on sending a missing document.

Hubby found his military exemption card for Iran (we thought it was lost), two weeks after I sent the packet in. We haven't received a checklist yet, so should I just send in the entire packet again or just the copy of the card with the translation? If I send just that document should I indicate on the coversheet that all the other documents needed have already been sent?

Thanks in advance for the help. :)

Hi everyone

on 9 March 2015, we received the approval notice from uscis my PD is 4November 2015.

My husband told me that NVC call him yesterday they ask him for his income and they told him that he has to get an insurance for me ??? ?

The problem is when we verify the W2 his gross pay is about 19.896 per year !!!!!!!

And the minimum requirement is 20.025 in the property ...!!!

So that means my husband can't sponsor me alone , he start working another job but just in his free time can he put this also to complete his income in the paper or not ???:?? Please I need help

Thanks in advance

Okay there's some misinformation here. There is no law you have to have insurance. Why? That's wrong information. Do not worry about that.

Your husband doesn't make enough so he will need a joint sponsor that meets the guidelines for their household plus you.

Now he could just send what he has if both jobs together meets the guidelines maybe. But f he just recently got the job the embassy may look at t as he just go the job to appease them and will quit so as you arrive. So for safety sake get a joint sponsor in line for the interview and send in what you have with the two jobs.

Hi,

It takes 30-45 days for NVC to review each case. Persons cases have been reviewed within the 32-42 day range but those are just stats that sometimes aren't always the case.

Good luck on your visa journey!

Hi everyone!

I just completed the DS 260. On the confirmation page it gave me a link for Consulate requirement and it says that the petitioner need to fill out a sworn I-134 Affidavit of support for my husband to bring to the interview. Is this part of the requirement for Lagos?

Help! Thanks

oh I'm from Macedonia too and I did same mistake since I didn't knew they give 2 separate documents my scan date is 03.03 so I'll be expecting a checklist, how did u find out that u got checklist did u called or they emailed u ?

I called them to check up the application as it was already 40 days over there. Im getting them translated and sending out this week so they will get it next week. So I'm guessing it will take entire April and then some before I hear anything again. Both papers almost look identical too, just ridicilous.

And you dont need checklist, I made copies of checklist so I had extra, they told me checklist is not that important, but cover sheet is a must. Id send that other paper as soon as possible, hopefully it does not prolonge your process. It was my mistake not looking carefully on their web site which clearly states you need 2 documents. I just bought my self extra 60 days :|

Hello,

The I-134 applies to the K1 fiance visa, so not needed in this case. For the Affidavit of Support your husband will need to bring a signed I-864, which is what you also submitted to NVC.
