Irene and Joanna, I knew this was coming when you ladies started posting each other in Spanish, that is impolite and rude to the rest of the non-Spanish speaking VJ memebers.

I have not read the extensive VJ's TOS but I am pretty sure some where in there it addresses your behavior which is a way of hijacking the thread.

I am Hispanic and I am glad VJ has accommodated Spanish speaking members not only by language but by regions, so do not even try the discrimination card here.

Every body here is welcome, we all are from different countries, cultures and backgrounds and English is the common language for us to interact and support each other.

Dwheels76 has not been rude to any one in VJ, she has supported hundreds of people here and she is the official moderator for the topic.

She was not rude to you ladies, she is just doing her volunteer job.

A VERY short greeting in any other language to emphasize sympathy it is OK, I have done it in Spanish, Danish and Russian but keeping the subject in english. You can PM each other in any language.

I am new here. My NVC scan date is March 9th. How long it might take for me to get a cc?

Welcome Noorie! It takes 30-45 days for NVC to review your packages after scanning them into the system.

Your best bet is to call twice a week to NVC to keep following up on your case :thumbs:

Mine is also February 16th and I'm already checking for 3 n/a's 2 times a day! :rolleyes: I'm praying the next 2 weeks will go quickly with no checklist!!!

We are the same..scan date is also Feb 16.. any updates on you?are you cc now?

Scan date was Feb 2. Undortunetly I was not aware of 2 certificates from court, only sent them 1. Took 42 days, on 43rd day they told me I need to resubmit 2 copies. Getting ready to send those next week. Back to drawing board again (30-45 days) :\

Thank you for your suggestion but I am kinder of new to this site and don't know how I find out who is who, meaning the country they are from. If you know any easy way to find this out I would definitely PM someone from the Gambia or are processing their visa application for The Gambia.

Just click on portal at top of page there is a search button where it says View other portals. Go to Gambia. You are ow in their portal you will see to the right those who have been approved recent and those with upcoming interviews. click on them and send them a PM (personal messenger).
