I am sorry Lin to hear that you received an checklist.

Should i call NVC or just keep checking online because my date was 2/16 and i see few of 2/17 already got Case Complete.

Maybe i should wait till monday and if nothing happens call them on monday evening. Any thoughts?

I think the sooner you call, the better. Good luck!

I would call them. sign in to CEAC and see if your spouse's name has a FNU in it now. that's what prompted my call. My checklist was generated on 2/16 so they may have worked on yours already. Just call and ask for an update.

I hope you don't get a checklist too.

So I did call to confirm that the Supervisor made notes about the Nigeria and Liberia PCC'd are not needed in my case. She did! the guy said she did put in the request for my case to be reviewed again and it can take anywhere from 1 day to 42 days. he said lately its been quick but can't make any promises. Since I fedex'd the copies of those "missing" items again he said it could take 30-45 days for that to be received and reviewed so he's hoping the supervisor request of reviewing my case again will be quicker.

I just can't believe this is happening!

If anyone has information for me I will appreciate it. I have a question about how my husband can obtain his police clearance certificate from The Gambia. I tried to reach the police headquarters my email and phone but no response. My husband no longer lives there so I don't know how he can possible get information on how to get the PCC.

I would go to the Gambia portal look at who has interviews coming up and PM them how they did it.

Have you looked at the NV website at the reciprocity for Gambia about a Police Report?

Just got off the phone with NVC and Rep said that "Nothing from your case has been reviewed - Mailed Reviewed and no checklist has been issued" so i am guessing they haven touched my file yet.

Crossing my finger they somehow managed to get hands on my file. What was the last scan date case complete on VJ? Feb 17th i saw like on last page? Can someone confirm?

Good morning guys!

I paid AOS on the 03/10/16 which shows paid but IV I paid on 03/13/16 which still shows in process. I called NVC to inform them that I can't fill out the DS 260. The agent told me it takes 7 days to process. Even though it says 2-3 business days on the website to process.

Did it take anyone 7 days to unlock the DS 260?

UGH. I've been away for a few days and came home today and was going to finally pick up the package from my mother-in-law with all the financial info from them needed for the AOS paperwork. And because she had put both my name and my husband's on the package I was not allowed to pick it up without a signature from him. He is at work all night and I am at work all day tomorrow. Oh well, tomorrow night I will finally be able to compile everything. Now, fingers crossed she sent the right things! I just want to send off the dang thing.

How are we notified about our scan date? Our package is delivered at NVC.

Basically it means the day NVC confirmed that they received the docs which is by scanning the docs in the system.

Call NVC and press for English and than option 3 and have them confirm with you and when they do ask for a date which is your scan date.

Hi,

Most of the world uses DD/MM/YYYY......the USA does it by MM/DD/YYYY. That can be a tad bit confusing at times so you need to be extra careful and say the actual month rather than saying the numeric value for the month. For example, if your birth date is 8th June, 1984 then you say to the NVC rep: June 8th, 1984 OR you can also say 6/8/84. Hope this was able to clear this up.

That is so true, only in America.

Only in America a billion is 1000 millions. For most countries is one million millions or 1000000000000.

In America you park in the driveway and drive in the parkway.
