Trying to pay the IV Fee. It says "PAY NOW" in red, and when I click on it, it doesn't give me a check box, and the sum is $0.00. Anyone ever had this issue before? Currently, my AOS fee is being processed as I paid it yesterday. I'm trying to pay the IV fee to no avail. I redid the DS261 and resubmitted it, choosing an agent for the case.

Call NVC to have your DS-261 reviewed that unlocks the IF fee. Should have been done by now if you submitted it almost a month ago. Until you see $325 it's not invoiced.

Hubby got his w-2 form and cheque stub,and tax informations now sending it to our lawyer with the cover sheet and stuff only to wait now..thank u lord.

You have to give them 30-45 days from when they received your documents to review them. These won't be reviewed over the phone. The waiting game requires a lot of patience.

hi everyone I've few questions.

my wife's father will be the joint sponsor and I understand that we need documents from him such as his w2's, pay stubs, tax return and employment letter, but my question is do we send copies to the NVC or originals of these documents?,if copies. for my visa interview, do I need to take copies or originals?

I've to provide a police certificate and a military record , should these documents be originals or copies?

currently when we call the NVC they tell us that they have received the case but it's not in the system and we have to wait at least 42 days, do we call everyday for a case number? , can we leave our emails with them so they can contact us regarding any updates to our case?

For the NVC stage you only need to send copies, except for the I-864 form which has to have an original signature (signature can't be photocopied). You bring originals to the interview, as well as photocopies.

When did NVC receive your case? It may take about 1-2 weeks for them to assign a case number, but calling is usually the quicker option. I personally called every 2 or 3 days until it was assigned, but some prefer calling every day. And yes, leave your email with them as well so you can receive any updates/notifications.
