When you login to the CEAC website, the AOS fee will change from Paid to N/A. That's usually a clear sign that your case is complete. Just need to call NVC and confirm it.

we are preparing the AOS and IV package.
-my wife is a full time student and she doesn't work, when she was working she did not make enough to be eligible to file for taxes.
so I understand she has to fill out her own I-864 and provide her recent w2s to prove she did not make enough plus a letter explaining her situation.
-the joint sponsor will be her father ( he doesn't live in the house/divorced), since he doesn't live in the house with them he'll be filling out his own I-864 not I-864a (Contract Between Sponsor and Household Member) , his w2's, a letter of employment, pay stubs, IRS Tax Return for recent years (14,13,12) 15 is not available yet.

You should be watching on the ceac.state.gov site. The 3rd NA is when the AOS fee turns from PAID to NA

For your wife she doesn't need to submit W2. In the Current salary and the last 3 years just put $0. Than attach a simple cover page that states she did not file for years 2014, 2013, 2-12 because she wasn't unemployed and not eligible. Or didn't meet the income guidelines to file.

Sending W2 will make them think a Tax form is missing.

Dads info is correct I-864.

**Darn sorry you have to get another police report. Hope they are easy to get for you.

Had our interview today

We got there at 6:45 , the appointment was for 7am and we where out of there by 9am...at this new American consulate in santo Domingo everything moves wayyyy faster.

We were called up to different Windows twice and asked a few questions and we were done... Approved!!!??

My husband need to go pick up his passport at the location told..we were told that it takes Max. 10 days.....you can follow up online on status...

I'm going back home tomorrow... My husband will wait for his passport and joining me the next day after that....

i called and got my case#.

Just finished the D261. But why I can not pay Aos fee?

They have to review it first.

*Important note: Once you fill in the DS-261 and it shows as complete, do NOT go back into the DS-261 as it will re-set the date and start the clock all over again for ~30 business days.

*Tip: if after a week of submitting the DS-261 and the IV fee hasn't been unlocked yet, you can try calling NVC and requesting they review the DS-261 over the phone. If the operator refuses to do so, try again until you get a nice operator that is willing to do so.
