More than likely yes. well you will find out if they accept. since they said they found it I guess you could wait.

Open a thread and ask The Nigerian community what they submitted to NPC.

Because I saw people who didn't have a NPC issued BC get check listed my husband and I decided why take the chance. His BC he has had all his life is very concise parents full names his birth weight doctors signature but know of others having same type and check listed. But NPC there is no wahala.

You can have your mom or dad get it for you because they can sworn affidavit on your behalf. That's the only BC they will accept.

I have just completed my Choice of Agent form. Only IV fee is unlocked for me. Not AoS. Can I go ahead and pay the IV fee first?

I have read in WiKi and from different posts here that DS-261 and AoS fee happens in teh same time. Just wanted to check if what I am seeing is ususal.

You only need to send the most recent Tax forms + W2 or Tax transcripts to NVC. Since he didn't file in 2014 you will need to then provide 2013 and write a brief explanation why you didn't file.

I would include 2015 W2 attached to Letter of employment for 2016. You will also probably need a joint-sponsor. You really need to fill your 2015 before you send your package to NVC.

Is his 2015 salary above the guidelines? If so I would defiantly be filing now. You can use Turbotax and print out your forms immediately.

Yes and I just found out my husband has filled tax for 2012 2013 2014 .... and he got 2 pay check from DEC 2015 so he got W2 and he can fill tax.

My husband is going to fill tax for 2015 tomorrow. Can he order IRS transcript online for 2015 if he just filled that?

so for AOS package:

1. AOS bar code sheet

2. IRS transcript for 2013 2014 and 1040 tax form for 2015

3. W2 2013 2014 2015

4. 3 months pay stubs from current employment

5. I-864 form

when you click on the PAY NOW on IV fee what happens? What does it say under AOS fee?

It says N/A in AoS fee and Pay now in IV fee. I havent tried to pay it yet as I felt its odd

Does it have the amount next to the IV and the select button to press because it says pay now doesn't mean is available to pay. Check that out. Click on it to see what happens.

Hi all..I didn't find VJ until after I already submitted my I-130 petition so I didn't know anything about front loading. I need validation on what i'm doing with the Proof of Relationship file that i'm building for my husband to take with him to his interview. I've had one person confirm (thank you LoveinGhana! what would I do without you?!?) but my nerves are getting the best of me and need more validation. :) I've been following their instructions and only sending what they required which means other than a marriage certificate, they don't have any Proof of Relationship for us. So here's what I have in my file so far:

  • Flight information for my entire family (parents, brother + his wife and kids) that flew to India for our wedding.
  • Emails
  • Flight itineraries showing our trip to Dubai for 2 weeks together.
  • Money/Wire transfers I've sent him since our wedding (more than $500) -- if it was less than that i wouldn't bother including it.
  • approximately 15 Pictures from the wedding that include just us, us with my family, us with his family, us with friends
  • approximately 10 pictures from our trip to Dubai together
  • WhatsApp chat from May 2015 to present.
  • WhatsApp call log screen shots for the last month or so (I didn't realize till last month that WhatsApp only keeps 1 month of call log records at a time. )
  • Skype video screen shot
  • He will add pictures of the gifts I've sent him + cards I've mailed him

Do you think the above documents are enough to prove our relationship is still bonafide?

I emailed the Whatsapp Chat record to myself and it's come out to more than 3500 pages!!! there's no way I can print all of that and send it all to him. If I email it to him to print, he would have to go to an internet cafe and spend hours and money printing. Is it safe to just pick random dates for the chat and print about 10 pages from each month?

The one month of February WhatsApp call log is already 12 pages long -- that's with me putting 4 screen shots on one page. Do you think they will ask about the previous months?

I know they are probably not going to go through each page and read/check everything, but i'd rather have more evidence than not have enough.

You're probably also wondering why i'm doing it and mailing it to him versus emailing everything to him for him to put together.......Well that's where my OCD comes in. I want to organize everything for him in the way that they want it and easy for him to give to them. So I'm going to get an Accordion File Folder, put tabs labeling every pocket and send to him so he can place his documents in the section that it's supposed to be in (original + copies). That way when he gets to the consulate everything is already in order when the first consular checks.

I appreciate your experience and value your opinion.

So NVC just received my husbands police report yesterday. MANY THANKS to you guys for helping me through the process??☺️!!

I'm now waiting for the document to be reviewed, I pray it will not be another 30 days??????.... Scan date Jan 28th.

Awesome! Everything will run smoothly I can feel it lol!

congrats, the first link in my signature is the wiki guide for nvc. I used it and got through super quick! I had my husband get his police Clearance after noa2. We got packets together so after aos fee we could get them out to save time then pay iv fee and do ds260. Worked....

7/30/2015 Sent I130 priority mail to have tracking, I suggest you do the same.

8/4/2015 NOA1 (Nebraska)

Our case was completed this week. Just checked my husband's BC and it was also issued by NPC. Hopefully that helps.
