Yay, reviewed the DS-261 over the phone this morning. Piece of cake. Now still waiting for the AOS fee to show up as "paid". How long did you guys have to wait for that? Hubby paid the fee on saturday. It says 2 to 3 business days on CEAC and 5 days on the NVC website!

Also, after I had the choice of agent form reviewed over the phone it doesn't say "not invoiced" next to the IV Bill anymore. I hope that's normal?

It can take up to 5 business days for a fee to show as paid. however, if you got the DS-261 reviewed, that is what's prompts the IV fee to be unlocked. It usually takes about 24 hours after the DS-261 is reviewed for the IV to be unlocked. It may be in the process of being invoiced right now and that's why you're not seeing it. Again, once the IV shows Paid, that will automatically unlock the IV application.

For me it took barely 2 days for the AOS fee to show as paid. However, the IV took 3 business days. Add to that the weekend and Presidents Day.

You should find the sample pdf of the DS-260, print that off and start filling in the answers so you know how to fill it in online when the time comes. The sample form isn't exactly like the online form. I've found there are differences but majority is thes ame.

Case completed in 11 days!

My I-130 was received by the NVC on 2/8/2016, we got through the NVC stage in exactly 1 month, now just wait for interview.

This is very good news after waiting 10 months for our I-130 to be approved.

Congrats on all the recent CCs! NVC sure seems to be doing some work. :content:

I've got a question about the I-864/filing taxes. My husband and I both live in Sweden, and he has made a whopping $97 in the US last year (from dividends). Should he file taxes? Or should we just include a paper saying he hasn't filed taxes because he didn't make any money in 2015?

2/3/2016 nvc received aos and iv packets(scan date)

2/7/2016 ds260 completed and now waiting for cc

OH so excited. My husband just got the email from NVC and I now have NVC case number and Invoice ID number. According to the first 3 letter of case number, we can choose either email or mail processing.

So right now i am on step 1 choose an agent. so nervous

don't be, have him get your police clearance now also. So it's ready for packets. That link in my signature will guide u through quickly

you cannot imagine the anticipation on my ends.... Been refreshing and checking all sorts of forum all day. I am working from home today but spent half of the time Refreshing for update. I cant wait for Feb 8 to get CC

I called the NVC today and the guy I spoke to said this call wouldn't be considered a point of contact, because the last point of contact was on the 3rd and somebody else was already working on my case. What do you guys think that means? I've never heard about point of contact
