Quick question on CEAC:

I have submitted the DS-261; all good, no problems. Under AOS Fee and IV Bill it already says "Pay Now". Does that mean we can go ahead and pay those already? I thought there might be a bit of a wait?

Congrats! Things will move quicker for you now.

The system will only let you pay one fee at a time. Login and pay your AOS. Then you'll see it won't let you pay the IV fee.

Call NVC and have them review your ds-261 over the phone. It will save you weeks of waiting.

Once they review the ds-261 within 24 hours the IV fee will be unlocked. Then you can pay that.

N-400/Citizenship process:

Congratulations!! what is your scan date?

She just got her case number and IIN which means she's at the beginning stages of the NVC stage. Once she sends in her AOS and IV documents she will have a scan date.

Can you fill in your timeline and auto link it. It will help others help you if you have questions.

Super-excited!!!

YAY Congrats! I'm so glad you didn't wait to call. We are just two days apart with out progress. I hope you go through the rest of NVC smooth as ever! :goofy:

  • Scan date: April 14/ May 7th (NVC said both I dont know why)

HI! My CC at 16 Feb and interview was scheduled in 24-Feb.It is in April,but my case still at NVC. How long does it need to sent to the embassy and when it will be send? thank you.

You can pay them at any time. Quicker THE better, THE IV WILL Then unlock ds260. I would get your packets together and get them in to save time. When they get those packets, that date will be your scan date. Just print a copy required for ds260 to take to interview. Good luck, I went through nvc quickly listening to Debbie and reading the first link in my signature. Totally Helped me...

1/15/2016 Called NVC and got case/invoice number logged into this site to pay fees, pick agent -> https://ceac.state.gov/IV/Login.aspx 1/15/2016 picked agent DS-261

1/18/2016 paid aos fee

1/28/2016 review 261 to get iv fee unlocked ( unlocked once I did review,was taking to long)

2/1/ 2016 sent AOS & IV packets together to nvc while I waited for iv fee to open to save time.

2/4/2016 paid IV Fee and waited to do ds260

2/3/2016 nvc received aos and iv packets(scan date)

2/7/2016 ds260 completed and now waiting for cc

♧CASE COMPLETE. .. march 8th

4/20/15 shots 4/25/15 rest of medical exam

INTERVIEW APRIL 27TH @8:30

April 27th 221g for additional documentation and placed in administrative processsing.

June 20th submitted evidence requested

Thanks to you as well :-) I already have my supporting documents gathered (thanks to the NVC link you´ve mentioned :-))and will express mail them to my hubby today. He also has his financial documents ready so once those fees and the DS-260 are done we´re good to go. Hope you´ll get your CC soon :-)
